Corin Forest Mountain Resort Wedding; A styled session

January 7, 2020

Corin Forest Mountain Resort is a hidden gem in the Canberra wedding space. This stunning little resort is most renowned for its snow slope that it has opened in the winter months in Canberra. Corin Forest Mountain Resort is perfect for couples who are looking to have a unique wedding day surrounded by the lush Australian bush, without the trek 3 hours into the backcountry.

What we wanted to show with this session

I wanted to show couples how Corin Forest Mountain Resort would be the perfect Canberra wedding venue. I also wanted to showcase this beautiful green wedding gown from the talented Naomi Peris Bridal.

Naomi’s stunning green wedding gown is a fantastic showcase of why green is the new white when it comes to wedding dresses. So many brides I meet, love the idea of being covered in greenery, and this wedding dress is the perfect accompaniment to this.

You’ll also see a gorgeous bouquet by the ever-talented Moxom and Whitney. If you’re a long term follower, you’ll know just how much I adore the work of Moxom and Whitney. Loulou Moxom created a gorgeous set which really complimented the whole look and style of the session.

My arbour and Persian rug also make an appearance. If you’re looking to have a ceremony in a location that isn’t too far off the beaten path, this can be the perfect accompaniment to framing your ceremony site.

My favourite part of this whole session was exploring the ground of Corin Forest Mountain Resort. It really is one of those venues where you can quickly get some of the most incredible backdrops with such little effort. That in itself is testament to the location of Corin Forest.
