‘elopement’ means something a lot different from how it used to back in your grandparents day.
elopements nowadays are about creating an authentic adventure for you both, stripping away all of the traditional pressures and demands of a modern wedding, to something that truly reflects who you are.
it’s not about the show, and the flashy things; it’s about you, and what your relationship really represents.
it can be you both hiking up a mountain in new zealand, exploring ice caverns in greenland, jumping across waterfalls in iceland, or scene spotting at the top of a cable car in switzerland.
Planning an elopement can seem daunting.
James will be there from the start to help you design your dream elopement, asking deep questions that really get to the bottom of what you’re both all about, and what adventures may work best for you.
From planning where you’ll have breakfast, where you can hire your jeep from, which mountain trail may work best, ceremony location and logistics, right up to the champagne being popped and you kicking back as you watch the sunset after your stress-free and awesome wedding day.
Due to the momentous yet intimate nature of elopements, I like to make sure everything is perfect for your big day. This means I put in a lot of extra time and effort to location scout and research to ensure no fine detail is missed, before it even comes time to take the photos! Plus, you’ll also have unlimited access to my specialist advice along your elopement journey. As your Destination Elopement Photographer, I’ll help you out the whole way.
Note I only photograph elopements under 30 guests.
